Investigator Database

The Site Services team plays a vital role in maintaining relationships with clinical investigators and site staff interested in participating in clinical trials being managed by PAREXEL. Through interim contact with physicians and site personnel, the Site Services team aids in the selection process of qualified research professionals who will collaborate on clinical trials.

The PAREXEL Investigator Database currently has approximately 12,000 investigators registered to participate in clinical research trials. Detailed information regarding primary investigators and Site Management Organizations, as well as investigator experience, patient population, PAREXEL study experience, site performance evaluations, therapeutic areas of expertise/specialty, facility/staffing qualifications, laboratory availability and IRB information is all captured in the Database.

Investigator Performance Evaluations...

The Investigator Database maintains performance evaluations for investigators that have participated on PAREXEL studies and tracks other study-specific information, including the investigator's ability to meet recruitment goals. Every CRA should complete a site performance evaluation for every site that he/she monitors. The CRA may refer to the Evaluation Guideline for help in completing the evaluation form. The evaluations should be completed at the termination visit, time of CRA transfer and/or qualification visit. Feedback regarding the performance of the investigator and study staff including compliance with the protocol, source documentation and CRF completion, regulatory document maintenance and drug accountability should be captured. It is critical that these evaluations be completed to ensure that PAREXEL uses highly qualified investigators and sites.

Investigator Referrals...

We are always looking for new, high-quality and enthusiastic investigators/sites. If you are aware of qualified physicians and investigative sites that are interested in registering with PAREXEL to collaborate on future clinical trials together, please refer them to Site Services. Our team can ensure that they are in the Database along with the most up-to-date information regarding them. Here is a sample Potential Investigator Questionnaire that is sent to investigators who are interested in registering with the PAREXEL Investigator Database.
